Recruitment of SIs About 2000 candidates turned up for physical tests on first day : POLICE | KNO

Recruitment of Sub Inspectors for 698 posts in executive, Armed and telecommunication police started from district Srinagar today. Near about 2000 candidates underwent the required Physical Endurance Tests (PET) and Physical Standard Tests (PST) at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar.

Recruitment of Sub Inspectors for 698 posts in executive, Armed and telecommunication police started from district Srinagar today. Near about 2000 candidates underwent the required Physical Endurance Tests (PET) and Physical Standard Tests (PST) at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar.

67218 candidates from different districts of the State have applied for the said posts. Among whom 31496 candidates belong to Jammu Province while as 35722 candidates are from Kashmir province. Out of total 67218 candidates, 64625 candidates have applied in Executive/Armed Police which include 58584 male and 6041 female candidates. 2530 candidates have applied for the post in Telecommunication wing.

In the first phase the PET and PST, in respect of 35722 candidates belonging to Kashmir Province has been started from today. The process in other districts will be conducted as per the schedule already notified.
